I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror a couple weekends ago and said "I'm Kay." That is my oldest sister and the resemblence I saw on that day was just amazing. Sometimes I look in the mirror and see my mother staring back at me.
I generally don't even look in the mirror to be honest with you. I get out of the shower in the morning, brush my hair while looking in the mirror, but then walk out of the bathroom. Our bathrooms at work are set up strangely, it's divided into three sections, a bathroom stall section, futher along from that is a sink section, and further along from that is the mirror section. There is a door to enter & exit at each end. My desk is on the side of the sink section, so I go by it when I go in and again when I go out but don't usually look to the side as I go by. This is Not something new for me, I've never been one to spend time looking at myself.
I tried Fare For All last night. It is a bulk buying organization that sells grocery packages at a discount. I ended up with a frozen package of Asian Orange Chicken, a Hormel package of meat (can't remember what type) in Enchilada sauce, ham lunchmeat, and frozen fish. I also got 5 lbs or potatoes, a head of cabbage (what am I going to do with that???,) a head of cauliflower, 1 lb of carrots, 2 green peppers, 5 apples and a couple carrots. We were also able to pick three bread products, I picked a loaf of wheat bread, a loaf of Asiago/Cracked Pepper bread and Chocolate Chip Scones, all for $17.00, what a bargain.
