Ok, so 3 days ago I turned 50. No big deal really, there are millions of people who have accomplished this before me, but it seems like something I should take note of or it should be special in some way.
I took the day off of work, I wanted to spend the day lying around in bed, watching whatever I felt like it on day time tv. I work a full-time Monday-Friday job, a weekend job, have family that I want to spend time with on my one day off every 2 weeks, so I don't seem to get the chance to just do NOTHING that often. Worked out pretty well until about 2:30 in the afternoon, then "life" again reared it's ugly head and I had to get off the island (what my bed has become to me).
So, 50 . . . my life is roughly 60% over, yikes! I had hoped to have my life "in order" by now. One of my sisters asked what "in order" means, to me it means having advance pay day loans paid off (hence 2 jobs). It didn't happen, but I have high hopes that it will by the end of 2010. Something to hope, strive, work towards!
I still have high hopes for myself, maybe some college courses before the other 40% goes by, some traveling perhaps, maybe a savings account! Any suggestions?
